Sponsorship Guide
The Chicago Gems Women's Baseball Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to making the game of baseball as accessible to girls and women as it is to boys and men. Since 2003, we have offered an instructional club baseball program, with practices, clinics and inter-squad scrimmages, and also participated in several national women's baseball tournaments. We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for women to play league baseball in Chicago this summer, the Chicago Women's Baseball League. Your donations will help us defray the costs of this new league, buy equipment, rent fields for practices, as well as provide instruction and financial assistance to our members.

Double - $50
Triple - $75

Grand Slam - $150
MVP - $225
Hall of Fame -$350
Legend of the Game - $500+
Examples of what your contribution will allow us to buy:
$25 = a dozen baseballs (we definitely need those)
$50 = three batting helmets (safety first!)
$75 = a bat (because it looks very silly to stand at the plate without one)
$100= a tiny advertisement in the local neighborhood paper (Come play baseball with us this summer!)
$150 = catcher's gear (a must have, even though it still hurts if you get hit in the gut with a fastball.)
$225 = a group pitching clinic with a qualified pitching coach (you really gotta know what you're doing to teach this particular skill)
$350 = half a team's worth of uniforms (no, these are not the little skirty one-piece things they wore in A League of Our Own!)
$500 = A full set of equipment for one team (Hooray!)

* You will be joining a small but dedicated band of rebels who believe it's time for the girls to take the field and show everyone that we can play this game!
